Episode 1 of our New Years Series!
As we step into a new year, many of us are setting goals rooted in faith, growth, and intentional living. But what if the most important goal for 2026 isn’t something we do, but something we learn to hear?
In this episode, we explore why discernment, specifically hearing God’s voice, should be your number one priority this year. Drawing from Scripture, we look at how God speaks through His Word and by His Spirit, why His voice produces lasting fruit, and how learning to listen shapes every other goal we set. You’ll receive biblical encouragement to trust God’s guidance, even when the future feels unclear, and be reminded that intimacy and friendship with God are at the heart of the Christian life.
We’ll also unpack common pitfalls Christians face with goal-setting, reflect on how misplaced motivations can affect our spiritual growth, and reframe spiritual disciplines as pathways to relationship rather than religious obligation.
